While in the first part, Lili searched for her mother, she now questions her mom on the identity of her father.

In this sequel to the mini-series, Lili must now find her father to save her newly-found mother, who went to Asia to interview the head of a revolutionary force. When she gets there, she is told that she was brought there so that they could ask for a million-dollar ransom. Since Lili doesn't have that kind of money, she and her mom's friends, Pagan and Maxine must find her father and ask him for the money. Her mother wrote three romans a clef about the man who's Lili's father, so each goes off to see one of the men depicted in the novels.—<[email protected]>
