On February 25, 1986, two candidates took their oath for the presidency of the Republic of the Philippines. One was the incumbent, one of the most powerful men in the country's history and the world. The other was the widow of his staunchest rival. Laban, which is Fight in Tagalog, is a film about these events. Know as the EDSA revolution. These events played a major role in the course of world history in showing that people do have power of their government even in the face of curtain harm or death.—Anonymous
