Rocío is a talented singer who decided to leave her home environment to study at the City Conservatory, despite her strict father's refusal. At the key moment of his singing career, Rocío learns that his mother is sick with cancer and has as his last wish to reunite his family before he dies. At the request of her mother, she is forced to return to the town where she was banished ten years ago.
