The Mafia of Nuevo Laredo is the story of two friends who, due to life circumstances, end up facing different paths. Juan Ramos and his friend Ignacio started together as "pateros" on the border between Mexico and the United States. Ignacio leaves the paths of the illegal and becomes a "federal agent" so he decides to wage a personal war against Juan Ramos. The Mafia of Nuevo Laredo is a free version of Juan Ramos' corrido and tries to reflect the paradoxes of friendship and betrayal.
