Summaries

When old Antón dies, he leaves his daughter Mariona and his goddaughter Águeda, trapped in a shipwreck, under the care of cruel uncle Roque. He insidiously takes over all the deceased's assets, turns Águeda into the Cinderella of the house and wants to force Mariona to marry her son Pablo, tormented by his lameness. But Mariona has a secret relationship with Tomás Pedro, a handsome fisherman who works for her uncle. To avoid suspicion, she devises a ploy to pretend that Tomás Pedro is in love with Águeda. Poor Cinderella believes it and, with her kindness and natural charm, she truly captivates Tomás Pedro.—jsanchez
