La Guagua: Door To Door is a romantic comedy from first time writer & director Victorious Ramos. It tells the story of ivy league student, Yaritza Nunez, a fourth generation Latina who speaks no Spanish and finds herself unable to secure transportation to New York City for a traditional reunion with her dad. In a panic, and against the prejudiced warnings of her best friend Tamara, Yaritza boards a Latino-owned, door to door van service promising to deliver her to her destination. Once on board, she meets a motley crew of hilarious passengers and discovers herself in the process. Developed as a vessel to showcase local talent, the project was shot in just four days with a total budget of $500.00.—Anonymous
