A man in his forties has had enough. He leaves his loveless family, uninspiring job and fake friends and tries to find something more. He meets a young woman he falls for, but she puts him on the test.

Sergio, a bright 40-year-old architect, fulfilled in life, is well-off, admired and beloved. Self-confident in all circumstances, he lives life in the fast lane. One day, he is the victim of a car accident, from which he emerges unscathed but not unchanged. Now well aware of the price of life, Sergio rises against all the falseness around him.
