Jaime Vila is an honest family man from Barcelona who works as an accountant in a flour factory. He has four children and is married to Mrs. Adela, a good wife and an excellent mother. The family lives peacefully on Petritxol Street until, one fine day, everything falls apart when Elvira argues with her parents and runs away from home with Jorge, a wealthy businessman from Bilbao, and, furthermore, Mr. Vila loses his job for refusing to participate in the dark scams that his employer proposes to him.—jsanchez
