The Malaspina Expedition was a five-year (1789-1794) maritime scientific exploration commanded by Alessandro Malaspina and funded by the Spanish government. In 1994, this documentary series recreates the Malaspina's Journey, crossing the Atlantic Ocean from Spain to South America, and the Pàcific Ocean from California to Philippines, Australia and Tonga.
