The love of two lovebirds with the background of an incident in Banyuwangi 1965 which perhaps many people don't know what the history behind the incident is like.

The setting is 1965 and takes place in Banyuwangi. There lived a young man named Ikhsan who came from a NU family and was having an affair with a woman named Ning whose family were members of the PKI. Initially, Ikhsan did not mind the differences in background between them. However, his feelings were shaken after his family became victims of the PKI massacre. As a result, he finds himself in a dilemma to decide whether to avenge his family or save Ning's life.
