An intimate dusk til dawn journey to meet the chefs behind Hong Kong's best street food.
When the Michelin Guide first incorporated a street food section in their lists, they started with Hong Kong. In fact, Hong Kongers love their street food so much that the have a saying 'so gai' which translates as 'sweeping the streets', referring to the act of trawling the streets for bites of the best street food from a variety of vendors. In Kung Food II, we join two of the city's best-loved chefs on their own 'So Gai', Chef Vicky Cheng of WING, and Ho Lee Fook's Chef ArChan Chan. Despite their fine-dining day jobs - it is the street food of the city which continues to inspire their passion for cooking. From beef offal noodles to tofu pudding and everything in between - we get an intimate look at the unique spirit of the street chefs serving up these classic Hong Kong favourites.
