Zia returns from the city to attend her mother's funeral, even though her grandfather, Danang, forbids her. He wants to know the mystery of his father's disappearance and uncover the dark history of his family.

Zia, the young daughter of Djarot, a thug with the nickname 'gali', is married to his daughter Danang who is actually the leader of Petrus (Mysterious Shooter). When Danang no longer needed Djarot and the 'gali' he had been using, Danang decided to kill and massacre them all. Since then, the curious spirits of the dead 'Gali' have appeared, becoming a group of coffin-bearing ghosts who frighten the villagers called 'Kromoleo". Anyone who witnesses the Kromoleo will die because of the Kromoleo's terror. Zia is trapped between two choices, choose Danang, her grandfather or Djarot's father.
