Synopsis

The movie revolves around two neighbouring families of Mary & Beena , who live at 'Gagultha Lane' which is at a village near Cochin. They are very good friends, and are always seen together. Mary and George have Jibit & Jibina as Kids, while Beena and Varghese have Annie & Albie as kids. Jibina's husband is outside India and she has a daughter named Augustina. Jibit & Albie are very good friends. Once, Mary and Beena go to market and Mary buy a few hen from the market. Mary waits eagerly for the first egg to be laid . But things take a different route when Mary finds her hen - house open one day and she sees the hen at Beena's house. She is sure that the hen has laid her egg and she has her doubts that the hen has laid its egg at Beena's house. Later, when the second egg too goes missing and she sees the hen at Beena's house again, she becomes angry and asks Beena about the egg. Beena responds that she is not aware of the egg,and is adamant that Mary should get in her house and check. As Mary starts to climb steps at Beena's house, she hears the sound of an egg being broken from the kitchen. She goes to the kitchen where she sees an omelette being made by Annie. This makes Mary furious as she thinks that the omelette is being made from her hen's egg. This leads to tension between Mary and Beena. In the meantime, Jibit , Albie and their friends come in a hussle with Keerappali teams and they get into fight whenever their gangs meet. Beena and Mary come to know that Annie and Jibit are in a relationship to which they disagree due to their problematic vibe. Also, Albie gets very angry with Jibit knowing about the relationship. But later, Albie and Jibit patch up, settle scores with the Keerappali teams and they convince their parents for the engagement between Annie & Jibit in the presence of the church priest. Mary is not so happy with this function , and she stays out of Beena's house where the function happens. But soon, she finds the solution to the mystery of the stolen eggs.
