Wallenius, a successful businessman, inherits an antique bookstore with eccentric personnel and customers. He must learn a whole new lifestyle to protect his father's life work against the evil stepmother. To avoid bankrupt, he must find the most valuable books and scripts before his competitors. On the background, his wife, having run away years ago, is trying to get back to his life.
