Haruna Tsunematsu (Yuri Tsunematsu) is studying folklore at university and she decides the subject of her graduation thesis will be the "Kisaragi Station" urban legend which has been a hot topic on the Internet since 2004.

University graduate student Haruna visits the house of Hayama Sumiko, a former teacher, who claims to have visited a mythical train station called Kisaragi. As the Internet and urban legend have it, the station exists in a parallel realm ridden with mortal danger and can only be reached though a very particular sequence of events involving specific trains and stations.
