To reach his goal he must fulfill the three wishes of the Emperor's daughter, retrieve three golden objects, answer three riddles set by the Lord of Time, and overcome an evil witch and escape the Kingdom of Lies ruled by an evil Emperor and the young man's nemesis, the Prince of Lies. In return for good deeds along the way, he is given a magical horn and feather to aid him in his quest and is served by a flying horse, All this before he can finally enter the Kingdom of Youth without Old Age and Life without Death and marry the Emperor's daughter.—kosmikino([email protected])
Romanian farm boys Fat-Frumos refuses to accept the promise of eternal youth his father sang while cradling can't be kept, and wanders off himself. After years of wander, nobly doing good and earning wishes from fairies, one which he liberated, but thereby making a mortal enemy of the Prince of Lies, he meets the Lord of Time, who tells him of the kingdom in the sky where it can be granted. Its ruler warns it's never done before, as the candidate, who will win his daughter's hand, must in single days accomplish three tasks to acquire magical golden objects. Fat-Frumos accepts, befriends a flying horse by more good deeds, triumphing over evil adversaries, including the king of lies, who sends the Prince of Lies with his entire guard to retrieve the golden apple of truth. The evil prince gets wind of the promised princess and plots his own bid by cheating on everybody.—KGF Vissers
