After walking his girlfriend home from a date, regular nice guy Boots takes a shortcut through an alley and is mugged by a gang of criminal goons and their Boss. Later that night, Boots wakes up battered and bruised but mostly embarrassed. Feeling a rage beyond reason, and donning a worn pair of work boots found in the alley, he goes off into the streets to seek his vengeance on those who wronged him.—Anonymous
