Summaries

A young newspaper and his lawyer brother have lost their parents. The reporter attends a painting exhibition one day with his friend and runs into two sisters who are his acquaintances. The girls run a tailor shop in Tokyo. They four have tea and chat. The sister's parents have died and, as such, the older sister is protective of the younger while both are dotted on by their grandmother. The younger sister (played by Hara) loves books and reading and coincidentally so does the reporter. He is visited by the younger sister one night who wishes to borrow a book. They hit it off and begin to go steady.—aghaemi
