Choonda (Manoj K. Jayan) is a fisherman, who is also the leader of the local Kabaddi Team. Thamara (Shweta Menon), has seen her mother being brutally raped and murdered. Tired with every man out there vying for her body, she flees with Choonda to his village. Now, Choonda lives happily with his wife Thamara. But the local goon Reghu (Anil Murali) is after the seductive Thamara, but she rejects his approaches. So, Reghu decides to challenge Choonda for a game of Kabaddi, and brings in the best team led by Sajikuttan (Bala) to beat him. Choonda realizes that Sasi is his brother from whom he had been separated for long. Sasi realizes the truth as well, and stays back in the village. Sasikuttan has also fallen in love with a local girl, Muthu (Aparna Nair). Choonda gets killed anyway, but Thamara begins to yearn for Sasikuttan... Reghu is not happy With this turn of events, and arranges things to get free of yet this obstacle between him and Thamara.
