Karlos traces the life journey of a teenager named Irwan Zaid (Johan As'AI) who is often marginalized in the family, especially by his own father, Rashid (Namron). He was sidelined until his own mother, Zai (Sherlie Merlis), was unable to do anything. Without money to spend, Irwan learned to steal food from the canteen and then stole the motorbikes of his two new friends, Joe and Qiwek. Residents in Sentul began to worry about the case of missing motorcycles and at the same time, Inspector Mahadhir (Azhar Sulaiman) was assigned to investigate the case. After a month of monitoring, Mahadhir managed to catch Irwan. Irwan was tried in court and then placed in the Teluk Panglima Moral Rehabilitation Center. There, Irwan began to learn the true meaning of suffering.
