Young woman has many love affairs, after killing her husband.

Maria is a young woman and daughter of a poor fisherman who sells her to the crook Rufino. He is a smuggler and a gambling and illegal gambling entrepreneur. He subsequently changes her name to Karina and forces her to prostitute herself and perform strip shows in his business. A friend of Rufino, the farmer and also criminal Lucas, is obsessed with Karina and tries to convince her to stay with him on his farm. He has a chance to fulfill his wish when he wins her in a poker game against Rufino. She refuses to go with him, and Rufino beats her up. She gets a revolver and kills Rufino.
