Single mom Maggie must balance her career and raising her son Jordan. Jordan finds a tutor named Casey to help him at school and the man becomes like a father figure. Will the three of them find happiness and love again?

As a teenager Maggie is on the brink of finding true love when her life is shattered by her father leaving her and her mother on Christmas Eve. Now Maggie is a successful divorce lawyer trying to balance her career with being a single mom to her son Jordan. Jordan is behind in school and Maggie gets a recommendation for a private tutor, Casey, and hesitantly hires him for Jordan over the Christmas break. Casey tackles Jordan's difficulties with math--and ignites a new spark in Maggie.—Johan Hammar
