Following the death of their mother, Lera and her sister Nastia are orphaned and Lera is forced to take care of her little sister. She raises her well and always puts Nastia's happiness and interests first. The sisters are close, and so Lera is devastated when she witnesses Nastia's death. Changing her identity, Lera vows to avenge her sister's murder, however, a chance encounter with Sergei, the son of the family responsible for Nastia's death, alters everything, and feelings of hate unexpectedly turn into feelings of love.
