Against all odds a village boy (Bhonga) decides to go alone on one of India's most dangerous pilgrimage after being dropped by his gang members from this year's Kanwar festival due to some scandalous rumours about him. Millions of Lord Shiva's devotees go on Kanwar journey during the monsoon season to fetch holy water from Ganga river, the most iconic river in India that originates from Himalayas. The film deals with the complexity of human nature in existential circumstances. As the story unfolds this holy journey challenges their beliefs and moralities as every character is concealing a shattering secret of his own.
