Narrating the life of a young man Kanchan (Jins Shamsuddin). Sang Nila, the evil character in this film, had fought with Kanchan in an argument resulting in Kanchan being severely beaten by Sang Nila. With that defeat, Kanchan decided to learn the art of self-defense from a martial arts expert (P. Ramlee). When the time came, Kanchan felt that he was great and knowledgeable enough, he wanted to take revenge on Sang Nila and defend the fate of the villagers who were badly bullied by Sang Nila.
