Jungle Jim battles evil ivory poachers, mutant giants, stock footage, and cheap sets with the help of a pretty anthropologist and his cute chimp Tamba.—Marty McKee <[email protected]>

In the eighth film of this series, the jungle is split into two factions fighting for control; a group that is trying to save the elephant herds from extinction, and an opposing group of poachers and criminals who would destroy the elephants for the ivory of their tusks. Jungle Jim knows the location of a pass that is important to both sides, but he will not disclose the location because the territory is inhabited by a dangerous tribe known as the Giant People. Jim becomes a victim of the intrigue of the poachers and is framed on a murder charge.—Les Adams <[email protected]>

After considerable difficulty, Dr. Linda Roberts manages to locate Jungle Jim - he saves her from a black panther - wanting him to act as her guide in finding the land of the giant people. Roberts is an anthropologist and wants to study theses giants but Jim thinks it's far too dangerous. Meanwhile, greedy ivory hunters plot to get their hands on a herd of elephants with only the giants standing in their way. When Jim learns of the poachers' plans, he sets off with Linda to stop them. Along the way Jim will fight hippos, thieving natives and the inevitable elephant stampede.—garykmcd
