Summaries

In the end of 1979, a chimpanzee named Julius was born in Kristiansand Zoo but rejected by his family. Then he was raised by humans. Three years later, he became one of the greatest celebrities in Norway, and there were made books, song, video, and not at least TV-programs about him. 16 years later, he got locked inside a cage, completely alone. What really happened? In this documentary, we follow Julius from he was 6 weeks old and started to live together with the Glad and Moseid families, and all the way to his reunion with other chimpanzees, his celebrity life, his puberty, and his life as an escapee.—chribren
