After the disappearance of her sister, Julia Rose Marks struggles to cope with her grief as she pursues a career as a police officer.

Throughout her entire life, Julia Rose Marks cannot escape her grief after her sister Laura Marks disappears in an unresolved incident. As she begins her training at the Police Academy, she finds that she is strongly disliked by the other recruits who target the weakened teenager. As an officer at Hook Police Station, she is soon challenged by a series of horrific incidents that threaten her sanity and her life.
