An anthropologist, on a sea voyage to Alaska, meets a beautiful woman aboard the ship, who turns out to be a vampire and attacks and bites him. As he begins to slowly transform into one of the undead, he starts a journey around the country, searching for answers.—[email protected]
Anthropologist James Grace [Shaun Irons] has met a real vampire, alivesince the 14th century. Alexandra promises to make him immortal, but she iskilled by a second vampire named Legend. James takes a skiff andmanages to escape, but he harpoons a third vampire...a woman.
About a week later, James has returned to his home in Philadelphia.He feels unwell and decides that he must find out what Alexandra did tohim. He does an ERIC search, and learns about a Dr Donna Park who writesabout vampires but who has been missing for 15 years. He goes to her oldcollege and requests any umpublished papers. He is given no information,but someone hands him a note saying "Meet us at Caligari's Casket atmidnight." At the Casket, a disco, he runs into ex-student Monica Stewart [Rachelle Packer],and sees Legend on TV. For some reason, James passes out and wakes up atMonica's apartment. She offers her help, but he refuses. He continues tofollowup leads on Donna Park, finds out that her body was never found andthat all records have been forwarded to a funeral home in Louisiana.
James heads for Louisiana. At the funeral home, he overhears amessage saying that the vampires have been alerted to his coming, and theywant them. He steals a hearse and heads to Hollywood in search of a MrGreen. He wakes up the next morning asleep on a sidewalk in Philadelphianext to a dead woman. He calls Monica. Turns out that Monica is a "chosenone" of Legend and that Donna Park is the woman James harpooned in Alaska. Monicainforms him that he is a "dead man" and refuses to help him.
