After her friends abandon her and a dance audition fails, Izzy's parents send her to a hip-hop/lindy hop camp in Sweden. There she finds self-empowerment, friendship, and reconnects with her Black heritage through dance mentors.
After Izzy's friends dump her and her high school dance audition is an epic fail, her parents whisk her away to a summer Hip-Hop / Swing Dance camp in Sweden where new friendships and an attempt at romance crash and burn again, but with the help of a wise peer, an elder jazz dance mentor and a strengthened connection to her Black heritage through dance, she gains a new sense of self, home, and what it means to be a friend.
