A romantic comedy about a doctor and a bodyguard who fall in love with a young country-girl, who has moved to Seoul, Korea in search of her parents. However, many secrets complicate matters.

Set in the Blue House (Korean presidential residence) this drama features the hard-working people inside the most unknown place in the country. Even though the presidential residence is the main setting of the story, the main characters of the story aren't the presidential family. The story focuses on the true residents of the Blue House; those who have always been in the very center of the history, but remained unrecognized for many years. We meet the presidential cook, kitchen staff, a carpenter, a photographer, bodyguards and other workers. These people are working in the most unusual and interesting place in South Korea. Nobody recognizes their hard work, but they strongly believe that the food they cook, the door they fix, and a phone call they answer can make a difference. They take their work very seriously and always do their best. The mini-series features the simple, but noble spirit of those who love their job and work hard. Therefore, the Blue House in this story represents the workplace of the hardest working people in the country, rather than the secret and off-limits presidential residence.—James Cook

Yeo Bong Soon leaves her mountain village and comes to Seoul to live and look for her parents after her foster 'grandmother' passes away. She finds a job as an assistant cook at the President's Blue House canteen and later, in the Blue House kitchen. She falls for Jang Joon Won, the President's son, a highly intellectual doctor; however, he is married with a five-year-old daughter. His wife is suffering from dementia. As Bong Soon finds herself falling in love with Joon Won, a love triangle builds up when Bong Ki, the President's family's bodyguard, starts to fall for the hillbilly Bong Soon. The drama explores about how Bong Ki gets in touch with his own feelings and how Bong Song's generosity makes the men fall for her.

A young country-girl moves to Seoul, after her grandmother who raised her, dies. She goes in search of her parents, with only a name and photo. 25 year old Bong-soon finds room and board with the grounds-keeper for the presidential residence, Dae-Shik, his secret service agent son, Bong-Ki, (who is embarrassed by his father,) and the President's Chief of Security, Sang-Jik. She meets a doctor, Joon-Won, and her house-mate, Bong-Ki, who both fall in love with her. There are many complications and secrets. Bong-soon eventually becomes a chef-in-training in the presidential kitchen. With the help of her new friends, she slowly begins to unravel the mystery of her past and her parents.—ley-moon
