Karma is in love with Preet Kaur and gets married to her. Shortly thereafter some men assault him, and a stranger named Dharma comes to his aid. Months later, Karma, now the father Raju, finds out that Dharma is homeless and invites him to live with his family as well as his widowed mother, Jeeto.
