Ratna, a house-hold maid whose obsession over her owner's earrings leads her to a journey of darkness and despair ; as a result her husband Ashok separates her from her daughter Shilpa. Heart broken, Ratna makes some infuriating life choices which leaves her in a state of oblivion and isolation.
