In an ancient castle overlooking a small village in Mexico lives Maria Frankenstein (Narda Onyx) and her brother Rudolph (Steven Geray), the grandchildren of the infamous Dr. Frankenstein whose monster terrorized Europe 50 years ago. On the run from Marshall MacPhee (Jim Davis), Jesse James (John Lupton) and his slow-witted friend Hank Tracy (Cal Bolder), the last of the James Gang, meet Juanita Lopez (Estelita Rodriguez) in the village; Hank is wounded and she takes them to the only doctor in the village. Once there, Maria sees this as a chance to complete her grandfather's work. She sends Jesse and Juanita to get medicine for Hank and while they are gone, she transplants an artificial brain of her own creation into Hank's skull. She names the result Igor and orders him to kill her brother. When Jesse returns, Maria tells him that Hank has already left - but Jesse suspects otherwise.—Les Adams <[email protected]>
