The Finnish poet Larry Silván was living in Ekenäs for a long time against his will. He did not like the restricted mentality in the city. And with not being accepted for who he was. He later moved out to a house in decay next to a dumping site. He lived alone, cultivated what he needed, dictated and composed. In 1976, only 21 years old, he committed suicide. His only collection of poems came out posthumously.—YLE/FST
