Jack is a poor boy who buys some magic beans that grow into a towering beanstalk. When he climbs to the top of the giant beanstalk, he finds himself in a land of giants and great wealth, and he uses his quick wits make his fortune.

Jack and his mother are so poor that Jack is sent to the market to sell their only cow. When Jack returns with a handful of beans, his mother is upset and throws the beans out the window. In the morning, Jack finds a huge beanstalk, which reaches right up into the sky. Climbing up, he finds a castle, a giant and his father whom he sets free!
