Yuriy Aldanov is an experienced detective with 15 years of experience in the Criminal Investigation Department. During the investigation of a contract killing, Aldanov comes across a group that trades in raider takeovers. The head of the syndicate turned out to be the deputy head of the Kaluga SOBR, Ilin, a man with enormous connections. The detective takes into account the materials found on Ilin, but fails to open a case - a bag of narcotic substances is found in Yuriy's car, and he ends up behind bars. Aldanov's wife, despite the long-term discord in the relationship, sells their shared apartment to pay for parole. However, soon the girl starts an affair with a family friend, lawyer Lebedev, and leaves her husband. After leaving prison, Yuriy Aldanov, together with the ex-wife of a large businessman, Anna, organizes his own cargo transportation company, Izvozchik LLC. At the same time, the heroes are conducting a secret investigation into Yuriy's old case of contract murder. The detective is trying to start life from scratch, but only time will tell what will come of it.
