Seeking adventure in a divided fantasy society, a tenacious teenage girl and her friends unknowingly repeat history when they take on the responsibility of saving their world from a corrupt Queen.

At 17, everything feels like the end of the world - but in Aurora Harris's case, her world is actually ending. When the cunning Queen of her hometown Navajo City-State announces a way to save their city with the disclaimer that citizen participation could result in hostility towards their loved ones, it both scares Aurora to death and ignites that need for adventure she's been nurturing since birth. Against the wishes of their parents that know a lot more about the Queen than they let on, Aurora and her audacious friends concoct a plan to take her down.
