A 9-Year Old Boy is stuck in the middle of a classic Nerf Battle that he has no desire to be in. But when Taylor, the tactical cheater, tries to sabotage the game, Ryan has to decide if he is game enough to save the day.
"It's Just a Game" is the story of Ryan, a relatively shy kid, being forced into a game of Nerf by his friends at his own birthday party. But all is not as it seems. As their imaginations take over, we begin to see the world through their eyes. Kids become soldiers, bunk beds become massive encampments, and Nerf gun battles become all out gun fights. Everything suddenly takes on an entirely new meaning. Initially reluctant to play, Ryan, with the help of his friends Susie and the General, learns how to be brave and stand up to those who would commit the ultimate crime. Cheating. And after Susie gets kidnapped and the General takes on a solo mission, it is now up to Ryan alone to figure out how to save the day.—Bailey Fatool
