Young dancer Dima crosses paths with a mysterious and strict mentor Fil, who encourages him to move not only in dance, but also in life, stimulating him to grow up and find his own identity. Dima's girlfriend, dancer Yulya, is so unsure of herself that she is ready to betray her dreams for the sake of peace, but Fil saves her too. The mentor constantly surprises, provokes and tests the boundaries of everyone around him.
