Two aspiring academics and best friends take a road trip through Wisconsin to compete for the same university teaching job.

This debut feature follows two friends and aspiring academics (Aaron Moten and Cameron Scoggins) as they attempt to land a university teaching job. In their quest to impress a faculty member (Kathleen Wise), they all go camping in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. There they discover some harsh truths about themselves, academia, race, and the complexity of true friendship.
