Torino in 1899, the local police has to face some implausible crimes and requires the help of the famous criminologist Professor Boato (and his as well implausible methods). As the Professor is more likely to woo beautiful ladies and be trying to escape the attentions of his fiancée for 10 years (Lili) than investigating and solve those cases, most of the work would probably be done by his assistant Scipio, very found of Sherlock Holmes' methods, while the Professor would be attending Giovanna's cabaret.—PierrotS
