Haruma, a self-doubting man, faces comparisons to his successful childhood friend when he rekindles a connection with his high school crush, Reika.

Haruma Sakuraba is a man in his mid-twenties who has never experienced success, lacks self-confidence, and is only known for being serious. Since his youth, Haruma is always being compared by others to Shuji Inukai, Haruma's childhood friend who is great at sports, studies, and even looks. One day, Haruma reunites with Reika Inukai, a beautiful woman he has liked back in high school. Turns out, Reika is supposed to be married to Shuji and live in Tokyo, but somehow Shuji went missing.
