Extreme desert explorer Max Calderan has dreamed of crossing the Empty Quarter on foot his entire life. A film crew was there to capture it when he finally started to put the dream in motion.

17 days; 6 crew members; 12 guys on support: drivers, security, paramedic, and general duties team; 2 Saluki dogs, 8 off-road vehicles (one was lost 10 days in); 1500 lbs of camera equipment; 3 drones; NO showers; NO toilet; NO service; and 1 rockstar explorer - Max Calderan, crossing over 1000 km on foot, the largest sand desert in the world and one of the least traveled to places on earth - the Rub' al Khali.
