Synopsis

Indira Gupta, a.k.a. Indoo (Kiara Advani), is an Indian girl living in Ghaziabad. She is in a relationship with Satish for the past year, who wants to have sex with her. Indoo always refuses as she thinks they should do it only after marriage. Indoo's best friend is Sonal (Mallika Dua), a knowledgeable girl. Indoo always consults Sonal and follows her instruction whenever she is confused. As Indoo is beautiful and sexy, all men living nearby desire her, including those as young as high school students and as old as her father. Indoo lives with Indoo's father (Rajesh Jais) & Indoo's mother (Alka Kaushal).. Her brother Bunty (Harsh Sharma) is prepping for IITs. Indoo is training to be an air hostess.

Meanwhile, two terrorists from Pakistan are hiding in Mumbai after shooting a police officer to death (he was checking for their license when they were caught over speeding). The police issue a wanted order for them on TV channels (after they recover a large cache of weapons and raw materials at the location where the car is finally located), and as they do not know the terrorists' faces yet, the only clue given is that they are Pakistanis.

Sonal convinces Indoo to have sex with Satish to practice sex and know if he has any sexual problems. Without telling Satish in advance, Indoo visits him to have sex with him for the first time, only to find Satish sleeping with another woman. Angered, Indoo breaks up with Satish. Sonal pins the blame for Satish's betrayal on Indoo for refusing to have sex with him (after they both see Satish roaming around on his bike with another girl). Sonal also persuades Indoo to have a one-nightstand to practice sex. Following her advice, Indoo finds a partner on a dating app, and fixes a date with him in her house while her family is on leave for a week. The colony is having a Mata Ka Jagraata that night.

Indoo's match is Samar (Aditya Seal), who claims to be a musician from Hyderabad. Indoo brings Samar into the house by pretending that he is the RO serviceman. Though both know where the night will lead them, Indoo feels shy and nervous and keeps calling Sonal for suggestions. Samar orders dinner for them via a mobile app. They both find that they like the same movie and start watching it. They hold hands and are almost about to kiss. Later, Samar's passport accidentally falls on the ground (when Indoo was acting out one of the adult film scenes on him, upon Sonal's advise), which reveals him to be a Pakistani. Satish calls and Indoo calls him home and pretends to be having sex with Samar to teach Satish a lesson.Indoo, who happens to see the wanted order on TV, accuses Samar of being one of the Pakistani terrorists, but Samar denies it.Meanwhile the police arrest one of the terrorist who refuses to tell anything about who his partner is.

They begin to argue as people from two rival countries. Indoo wants Samar to leave her house but asks him to wait till the coast is clear so that no one sees a man leaving her house. After some twists (Samar was in India for his mom's treatment and stayed a few more days to see the country) (Now he has a huge pressure to go to the toilet, but Indoo, for some reason, won't allow him out of her sight) the food that Samar ordered arrives. Indoo invites the delivery man into the house to keep an eye on the "terrorist" while using the bathroom. Samar grabs this opportunity to force his way out of her house. Now it's the food delivery man who remains with Indoo in her house. She is forced to wait for a chance to send him on his way while the street is empty.

On his way back, Samar sees a dead body. Upon checking the corpse's ID, he realizes that this is the supposed person to deliver their food. He concludes that the man in Indoo's house must be the murderer. As his phone battery is dead, Samar tries to seek help from passers-by and people in a prayer gathering, but nobody listens to him. To save Indoo, Samar returns to her house and barges in despite Indoo's refusal.

Samar confronts the terrorist and reveals his deeds, but Indoo still thinks that Samar is the real terrorist and does not believe him. Samar and the terrorist fight; Indoo hits Samar with a stick and renders him unconscious. Meanwhile, the police manage to find a photo of the 2nd terrorist and publish it on TV.Indoo sees the TV notice, learning that the "delivery man" is the real Pakistani terrorist and that Samar was trying to save her all along. She escapes and hides in the house. Unable to find Indoo, the terrorist points his gun at an unconscious Samar, threatening to shoot him if Indoo does not reveal herself. Indoo is forced to show herself while Samar wakes up at the same time. He snatches the terrorist's gun and fights with him. Ultimately, the police arrive on the scene (The delivery company made a complain to the police that their delivery man went to Kavi Nagar to deliver an order but hasn't returned. They enter the colony and find the only house which was not at the Jagraata) and shoot the terrorist in this hand.

The movie ends with Indoo and Samar apologizing to each other as they lean in for a kiss.
