Apostle John is imprisoned on the island of Patmos, He struggles to understand why he's the last living apostle of Jesus Christ. He is visited by angels and the Apostle Paul. He receives visions which inspire him to write "Revelations."
A two part spiritual adventure. John at Patmos, an Allegory explores Saint John's frustration as a Roman prisoner on a remote island and also as the last living Apostle of Jesus Christ. He doesn't understand why he's been spared. Angels arrive and Apostle Paul visits from Paradise to comfort and encourage John to write visions coming. After surviving a brutal attack by his Roman guard, Jesus Christ sends John visions of the final fight between good and evil. After writing Revelation, John disappears. The Greek slave woman who cared for him, escapes, taking John's scrolls to Christians. In Part Two, Light for Your Journey, eternal wisdom comes alive through the inspiring words of Solomon, Isaiah, King David, and Apostle Paul. James Allen Moseley, The Bible History Guy, shares brilliant, entertaining commentary throughout the film.—Chris Weatherhead
