The people of a small Filipino village believe they have an evil creature called an Impaktita living among them.
The story of the movie "Impaktita" is based on a Filipino and Indonesian legend about a winged demon that is believed to be a cross between a vampire and a werewolf. When in the form of a demon, local people believe that the creature evolves from human form, severs itself from its legs, flying about with its intestines hanging free. While flying, it searches for humans for prey to suck their blood.
The movies centers around a small village that believes it has an Impaktita living in its midst. The villagers come to think that one of the women of their town is actually an evil witch who transforms into a demon Impaktita at night. They soon discover that they are more right than then know. Not only is this woman an evil witch, but she does not practice her evil ways alone.
