Immanuel works for a publishing house that is counting its days. The publishing house is owned by Joseph, whom Immanuel treats like his father. Debts force Joseph to leave behind his business. But Joseph recommends Immanuel to a job interview of an insurance company. Though Immanuel lacks the domain knowledge, through his selling prowess he gets the job. He gets a new boss, Jeevan. The film follows the character of Immanuel who works in a book publishing firm. When the company is closed down due to unexpected reasons, Immanuel and his family find it difficult to make both ends meet.
