A bank claims a considerable sum of money from Paula, a young teacher who years earlier guaranteed a loan for Ilkka, her boyfriend at the time. Drawn into financial difficulties, Paula takes on extra jobs to make ends meet. One of the jobs helps her implement a complex revenge plot against the inflexible bank and against Ilkka, a reckless photographer with no plans to take responsibility for his actions.—Markku Kuoppamäki
