History revealed in a saga of tragic love!

It's spring 1945. Italia is fifteen years old and she's falling in love. She's sensitive and independent although she was born and grew up in a family of farmers in Veneto. She reads, daydreams, and establishes a strong bond with the marvelous landscape that surrounds her. The object of her young infatuation is Farinacci, the son of the head of the local Black Brigades, who is childishly proud of his black shirt and Fascist ideology.—Puppa

During the spring of 1945, war had just ended in Italy. In a small town in Northern Italy, the partisans begin searching for the last Fascists to condemn them. A family is involved in the massacre that ensues. Seen through the eyes of young girl who was living her first love story with the son of a prominent Fascist, she returns to her home town after 55 years and relives the drama of her past. It's the first time that this part of Italian history has been told.
